President’s Message

Well another annual Convention is over and according to everyone that I spoke to it was a very successful one. I would like to thank the Bourse Chairman Bob Hurst and all the officers, board members and volunteers who helped make it a successful show. We have already started working on next years and hope to have an even better one.

There was not an election needed this year since we had as many nominees as we had positions coming open. Reinstated into office for next year were: President, Gary Overton, Vice President, Grant Campbell, Governors were; Jim Best, Barry Ciociola, Glenda Weaver.  All of these people are very dedicated to the organization and will do a great job.

The coin market appears to be very active at this time focusing mostly on the modern issues. Gold and silver are very active putting a spark into the bullion market also. In my area of the country type coins are still very popular and of course the Statehood quarter program is still very active.

I hope you all have a great Fall and Winter season and a safe holiday season .
