BRNA SCHOLARSHIP

Blue Ridge Numismatic Association donate $1,000 each year in honor of the BRNA to the American Numismatic Association (ANA) for a Summer Seminar Conference Scholarship.

Requirements to obtain scholarship:

1.    Written essay of (300 plus or minus 50 words to express):

        a.    Why they would like to attend

        b.    What benefit would be retrieved

        c.    Short biography of applicant's Numismatic Life

2.    Submit an essay on "Numismatic Subjects" for 200 to 600 words.

3.    YN Category age limit 14-21 years of age.

4.    Adult Category 22 years of age and above.

5.    A member of the applicant's family or themselves must be a member of the BRNA and in good standing.

6.    Essay(s) will be voted on by BRNA Board of Directors.

7.    Essays will be published in the Blue Ridge Numismatic Journal.

This scholarship will not be awarded if applicants are not qualified nor if the BRNA is not financially capable of supporting this.

The ANA does not require the awarded to be a member of the ANA - however, if the awarded is not a member, the fee for attending will be $100.
