EDITOR'S NOTES

It appears that 2007 is off to a fast and good start. I did not realize how fast time goes but it seems to be on a downhill run all of the time without any slowing. However, looking back it just seems that we had the holidays and the New year was ushered in. Now that I am putting together this journal in mid-March it just doesn’t seem that we are into our 3rd month of the year. At least most of the cold weather is behind us (hope so), of course living in Florida it doesn’t seem to get that cold here.

In this Journal I have been fortunate to have a collector and dealer to provide a brief write up about themselves. I am in the process of having other articles written for the Journal and will share those during the upcoming publication. If there is anyone that would like to write a article about numismatics just contact me. As always if there is any feedback that you would like to provide it would be appreciated.

In this issue Clayton Taylor  provided an article on how he started  collecting and then transferred to the other side of the table as a dealer.

Bob wrote about how he started as a coin collector several years ago. As mention before the last name of the collector will not be used for security concerns. I would like to think both Clayton and Bob for providing these articles.

SilverTowne  provided a narrative of their organization and how they got started. Bill Fivaz also provided the Journal with an article about “Isn’t Always True That…”.

Bob Hurst provided an status on the upcoming BRNA Convention that is being held in August. I provided some Tidbit of information about several items and hope that you fine this interesting reading.  Just something to add to the Journal.

NEEDED FROM OUR ADVERTISERS - If your ad was based upon a business card, I would like you to send a new one to be used.  I would like to redo some of these ads and need the cards. If you want to have a new ad make contact so I can inform you on what type of softcopy that is needed. By the time that you receive this copy of the Journal, I have placed the ads from the Journal on line at the BRNA website. I will update the ads online as I receive newer copies.

Thanks and everyone have a very safe time and enjoy friends, family and loved ones.
